I’m especially honored to have this haiku published in Katherine Winnick’s love-themed edition of Shadow Pond Journal – Issue V, alongside some exceptional contemporary haiku from my esteemed peers. As Katherine mentions in her preface, this issue deliberately contains fewer poems than usual in order to preserve the clarity and distinctiveness of each haiku poet. I’m thrilled to be among the poets chosen to be included.
