Failed Haiku 100th Issue

lemon juice
with a twist of irony—
jumbo shrimp

debate team
moment of silence
elevator ride

early sign
of coming rain
forgotten umbrella

the Lord giveth
and the Lord taketh away
church bingo

I submitted senryu to Failed Haiku in the hopes that one might be selected for their 100th issue, and as it turns out, they published four. Thank you Mike Rehling and Bryan Rickert for the tremendous honor.
